SANCTUARY DAY 2014

THEME: LIVE A PREPARED LIFE

The service was started with the opening prayer at about 7:50am by the erstwhile papa of sanctuary department Papa Tobi.

After which there were series of presentation by both past and present members of sanctuary department which included drama. Praise and worship followed immediately.

 

A talk show came up, which was on “Tips of Living a Prepared Life”

 

Thereafter it was the collection of tithe and offering by pastor Ini.

The message/sermon was concluded by a previous leader of Sanctuary department Papa Chimezie.

The service came to an end at about 9:48am after much admonishing from the Bishop of the fellowship and the vice – president of the fellowship.

NO  IMPOSSIBILITY

  Elijah told Elisha that he had asked a had question and requested for a double portion of his anointing .this tells us that even for a great preparation of god`s time, there are things considered as had times. In Mathew 19-26 we are told that all things are possible with GOD. 

      The track record of God`s  Almightiness  shows that truly  nothing can be difficult for him. All we need to do is to leave everything to God.

God has unlimited power and resources. If you focus on God as the author and finisher  of  your  faith, then  be free to make a request to God, he will not fail you because he can never  fail.

                                                                     

FORGIVENESS

According to a Chinese proverb,if you want to revenge you must dig two graves.

Forgiveness is the act of not blaming somebody for all the the wrong that he/she has done for you.

When a person goes on a mission or revenge missionhe/she brings more harm or bloodshed

Forgiveness is the best revenge,Drop-flat revenge plan.Life is short.Revenge is not worth seeking.

According to Romans 12;17,12;19 and it says ‘’recompense to no man evil for evil,provide things honest in the sight of all men,Beloved,never avenge yourselves but leave it to the wrath of God,For it is written Vengeance is His duty,why are you taking His duty?

MALALA was shot on the head by the Taliban in Pakistan for advocating Education for the girl child,then she was rushed to the hospital and she later recovered and she decided not to take avenge on the Taliban and also she wanted their children to be Educated.

When Joseph was released from prison,why did he not go after his brothers or Mrs.Potiphar on a revenge mission.

Its because he knew that vengeance turns you into a thief (taking what does not belong to you-but of the Lord). It provokes God to start fighting you instead of fighting for you all because you took revenge yourself,which is His property.Allow Him to do his work.

Anyone who seeks vengeance is very weak,I  want you to check your heart and forgive any man or woman who has offended you or you may have offended and make a space in your heart and forgive that person.

                                                                                                                                                      

PATIENCE

Text :-Isaiah 40:31

INTRODUCTION:- The advanced learners dictionary defined patience as the ability to accept delay,trouble or suffering without been angry or upset.

Patience can also be the ability to endure after a situation that might be over-bearing,regards to our Christian life patience in the things of life because you started to gain a lot.

Job was mocked and humiliated by so many, even family, to course God and die end his sufferings but he was patient,endured all affliction.God saw his heart and heard his cry and visited him.

You as a Christian what is that situation that you are running out of patience, have you spoken to God about it? If you have then you just wait patiently,no matter how rough it seems to be,how bad it is, just know that God is watching and will restore your joy soon.

Know this today “A rusty morning does not signify a cloudy day”.

Run your  race without delay,with patience because if you miss the process you will miss the promise.Never envy people in life,whatever that belongs to you will surely come to you.All that Heaven has destined for you must get you.In case of David,despite all the battle ,did he not eventually become king,1 SAMUEL 5:1-10.In conclusion I purge you today to be calm and peaceful,have no more pain against time and fate for your own will come to you Psalm 24:14.

                                                                                  

HOW HIGH IS YOUR VOLTAGE??

The level of decadence in the world these last days are on the increase, just as predicted in the Bible Matt.24:12. There is a widespread acceptance of degenerate behaviors just as the bible said it would be (2 Tim.3:1-8). believers that are still here on earth ,seeing and hearing all these evil on a daily basis, no doubt has a responsibility of ensuring they operate on a very high spiritual voltage. A believer at a low spiritual voltage level risks being overwhelmed by the moral and spiritual current of the world with the potential of being swallowed up by the same.

The current situation demands that you as a child of God must be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10-13). You must therefore ensure spiritual discipline of prayers, Romans 12:12. Apply self discipline in everything, regular fellowship so as to operate on a high voltage.

EVANGELISM DAY 2014

           THEME: FRESH ANOINTING                                    

 FRESH ANOINTING  

When we talk about fresh anointing, we are talking about a refreshing and renewal in the Lord. To anoint is to put oil or water on somebody’s head and fresh means something that is made or experienced recently putting these two things together, fresh anointing is talking about a fresh oil or new oil that is been given to as Christians by the Holy Spirit.

Let’s Look at Psalm 92:106; “I have been anointed with fresh oil” David In this text was talking about a renewal from the day David was anointed King , the spirit of the Lord came upon him but at times he needed a renewal.

 

We live in a time when many in the church have been anointed at one time they have received the Holy Ghost but like David, Satan has come and the cares of this world have come and stormed their kingdom so to speak. Satan wants to stop the anointing that breaks the Yoke.

HOW DO WE GET A FRESH ANOINTING

Let look at the early church. There is power in united prayer we need unity in our churches more than ever. Ecclesiastes 10:21”Dead   flies cause the ointment of the around a bunch of dead things like bitterness, unforgiveness and strife and receive a fresh anointing you have to lay those things down.

Job’s renewal came when he prayed for his friends (Job 42:10) those things down out of the way.

Isaiah 40:31 says but they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. Can we wait upon the Lord for up to an hour or more? As Christians we have to pray for a renewal day by day. I pray that as we as for daily renewal, your spiritual life will never remain the same again. Amen

                KEYS OF RECEIVING FRESH ANOINTING

1.    Your desire:

You see God cannot give you anything you don’t desire. It is only when you desire the anointing, he can fill you with it, if not you are bound to abuse the anointing. There must be hunger before it is released.

2.   Your place in prayer. :(Jude 1:20)

Now praying is an avenue where you ask God for anything. In Acts 1:8, Jesus said that the disciples will receive powers when the Holy Spirit shall come upon you. But what did they receive? They received tongues. Jude1:20 tell us to build our most holy faith by praying in tongues. They received tongues after the Holy Ghost comes upon them.

3.   Purity of the heart.

It is very important to have a pure heart when dealing with the

anointing “If I regard iniquities in my heart, the lord will not answer me”

DIVINE PATIENCE

Can you imagine when you were little and you had not started walking and your parents and siblings had carry you around can you imagine the patience they had to exhibit with you  when you started to learn how to walk? Can you imagine how stressful. It was to walk for them to take you around because you could not walk? In the same vein can you imagine the amount of patience God showed in your life while you were still in the world? He never gave up on you did he? He holds the patience to wait till you finally came to your senses and accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Even after that, he still had been patience with you up till now because even when you make mistakes he does not push you away instead he forgives you and allows you to grow in him. Patience in our lives not only when we are expecting things from people we cannot just wake up one day and be perfect at something. It takes time for people to grow while patiently waiting let us also encourage ourselves and the people around us that our reward is on its way. Learn to exhibit patience in your life after all you did not just magically enter the stage your life today, but we can grow into perfection with divine patience.

PATIENCE THE VIRTUE

We’ve all heard the saying “PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE”

PATIENCE: The capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble or suffering without getting angry or upset. The quality of being PATIENT as the wearing off of provocation, annoyance, misfortune or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation. etc.

7 STEPS TOWARDS PATIENCE

·        WAIT ON THE LORD

Rely on God for the strength you need for each moment. This is a common theme if you want to achieve any virtue, because they are so hard and don’t usually come naturally.

·        DON’T TRY TO FIT SQUARE PEG INTO A ROUND HOLE:

If you aren’t ready to handle any situation, you aren’t going to be able to remain in control (Self-control)

·        GET PROPER SLEEP(MARK 6:31):

Although it seems appearing to “burn the midnight candle” and extend the tome past when the kids are sleeping but don’t overdo it.

·        GET NOURISHMENT:

Don’t run yourself ragged where you don’t have time to eat. Low blood sugar has a lot of side effect such as mood change, headache etc. Even when Jesus was in earth, He understands the need for food so he told the disciples to go and get food for the listeners. (Matt 14:13-31)

·        DON’T OVER DO IT:

People know when we are stressed, if we don’t take people into consideration, we are bound to end up stressed.

·        HAVE OUTLETS:

If someone is getting out of control and you know you can’t handle it in a rational manner, grab a striker …… In all honesty, leave the situation for a few.

·        GO WITH THE FLOW:

Impatience is drossy, and when you try to have complete control over the situation, you quickly realise the unattainable task leaves you feeling broken (1Cor 13:14).

THE SUPERNATURAL BEING

A supernatural being is what God has commissioned all of us created by him to become, but the question is how many of us have understood, comprehended and discovered the truth that are spirit being from the creation of man. The body was formed from dust while your spirit was created neither was it formed but it was inserted through the breath of God. We as Christians are beyond the natural because something came out from God and entered into man to represent god here on earth.

As supernatural beings we are mandated to do supernatural works, super extra – ordinary manifestations  and reflection of His manifestation in us. Understand who you are, know whom you are, discover who you are, and this is who you are “THE SUPERNATURAL BEING” start working in that mindset and the consciousness of this and dominate your domain.

Supernatural means superior than nature, super extra – ordinary creation. Supernatural being are spirit being. We all are spiritual being because God is a spirit superior than nature (John 4:24) and He made man in His own image and likeness. When God created man He breathed into man, which is His spirit and commissioned man to take dominion over all that He made.

Your spirit becomes supernatural when you recognize the truth that you carry God’s glory in you. For you are not what people say you are but you are what God say you are which is “SUPERNATURAL BEING”. Authority, power, and super ability has been released upon you to dominate, do greater exploits and taking charge over nations. This is whom you are, know whom you are, understand whom you are and start “riding on the flight of the supernatural” because you are gods here on earth and representative of God’s kingdom on earth.

 Supernatural being is a man that is empowered by the Holy – Spirit to do exploit. Men are mere dust but by the virtue of the Holy – Spirit they become supernaturally super while living in the natural. Men were created by God to be small gods but lost his ability of after the fall of Adam. But by the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus we have become sons and daughters and kings and priests on the reign of our Lord Jesus in Heaven. By operating in the supernatural we become wonders that men ponders about us (Rev 5:10). By the virtue of being Christians we become regenerated spirits, spirits of sound mind (2Tim 1:7) we are able to unveil the mystery in the mystery of the word of God.

Supernatural being are God’s general, His desire, the available vessel and the true soldier of the faith, a typical example of a man.

The most spiritual man that ever lived and ever will, without doubt is “JESUS CHRIST” (because He still lives). He was a being that existed on such a realm of supernatural ability that even till this day His fire not only burns in heaven but in every believer of His name.

One of the trinity, letting go of of His heavenly position to begin an earthly life, in life of perfection and holiness He freed Himself from the flaws of human nature because He was God and He is incapable of un holiness or imperfection, but who then is God?

The Bible in 1john 4:8 states that God is love, God is the kingdom of Heaven, thus the kingdom of Heaven is a kingdom of love and only accessible to beings capable of the supernatural feet of true love.

The bible says that we are gods being, joint heirs with him, we carry within us the potentiality of Godly nature. The maximum of our potentiality is that He must first find the true essence of the word “LOVE”. Also find the personality and establishment of the similarity between father and son.

First, the bible reveal in (1Thessalonians 3:12-13), may the lord make your love for one another and for all people to grow more and more…….. in this way he will strengthen you, and you will be perfect and holy in the presence of our God and father when our lord Jesus comes………...

Jesus lived because he loved and his consideration of all men. We all should learn to carry out the extra human feet of perfection and holiness in the sight of God.
