The Glory and Power in Praise and Worship

It takes a believing heart and spirit full of faith by empowerment of the Holy Ghost to see the manifestation of God’s Glory and Power in Praise and Worship. But first we must believe in the Lord Jesus before we can gain access into the throne room like the Holies of Holies to worship God in spirit and in truth because the Bible says.

“By Him let us therefore offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks unto His name” Hebrew 13:15; which means without Him we can do nothing. But now that He is not present here with us, He prayed that the father send the Holy Ghost which we now have who would be that link to the father. We cannot separate the spirit and power, for it is by the spirit power comes on a mortal man. Acts 1:8.

In conclusion, if we do not have Jesus and filled with His spirit, there can be no manifestation of God’s Glory and Power in our praise and worship. As children of God and believers that we are, we have to show PROOF that indeed we serve a God who does powerful and Glorious things that man’s eyes can not even imagine.

Continued from Last week...

That night the King could not sleep, so early the next morning, he ran to the den with an expectation that I would be dead but with a hope that I may still be alive. Then he called out; ‘Daniel servant of the living God ! Was your God whom you serve so faithfully able to rescue from the lions?’

And I answered: Long live the king! My God sent his angel to shut the lion’s mouth so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in His sight. And I have not wronged You Oh king!

On hearing my voice, the king rushed out and ordered that I be brought out from the den. I was brought out from the den. I was brought out by the help of a rope and immediately given the best treatment. To their dismay and surprise not even a scratch was found on me. To this, the King ordered that these ‘friends’ of mine, their wives and children be thrown into the den. Their whole families were arrested and then thrown into the den, the lions devoured them all. After this, the King sent this message through out the world to every people, race and nation;

Peace and prosperity to you. I decree that everyone throughout my Kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel- For He is the Living God and He will endure forever.

His kingdom will never be destroyed and His rule will never end. He rescues and saves His people. He performs miraculous signs and wonders in the heavens and on earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.

At the end many years later I was shown the eternal mysteries of the kingdom and given interpretations. I was considered holy to be shown the visions of the end of the rule of the princes of this world. I was shown the great battle between the forces of darkness and of course the LORD OF HEAVEN’S ARMIES triumphed. These vision scared me because I sae in one of my visions the ugly beast called the anti-christ who will rule after the rapture of the saints and this prince’s ugly and despicable acts...

At last I had a confirmation for my own crown of life, a crown of righteousness. For I was asked to rest at the end of the days, you will rise again to receive the inheritance set for me.

TATAFOO KORNA

MY people una well done oh!! I welcome una to another week of tatafoo. Sha hope say una week correct and hope say una dey finally prepared for this week because me I believe say this week sef carry him own blessings.

As per say this Sunday na another powerful Sunday and na the last department wey be GVMC day celebrate their own day today. Hopefully angel go come down today and Baba God go dance today no be small because enough singing with orishirishi voice  wey go make us begin thank Baba God no go stop.

Last week Ushering Department and Drama Department carry enough message no be small as them really plan the day wella. From the opening prayers o to the very last drama presentation. Trust me I happy for them no be small I believe say the message wey God get for us. That day reach reach everybody and I believe say at least person life don change due to say wetin this people bring give us no be small.

If una never notice, na the last department wey go celebrate their day for the Ambassadors of Christ  tenure that is to say some people wey among us go soon become our new set of leaders. Hmmm...I no fit wait oh! But seriously to talk true, I go really miss this tenure because I really learn plenty things from them and I believe say God go bless them wella for  the plenty work wey them don do for PFM. Whether people like am or not PFM go last for this school. Well na for wait and pray make our Papa work no go be in vain and also make him direct them to choose correct people for the new tenure.

Na observation I use want write this thing oo... make una no conclude say TATAFOO talk say them go hand over abeg. Well nothing to yarn again but make una remember say the only person wey no fit lie to us na Baba God and na him be The Oga at the Top wey go always categorically love us no matter what. Till we show here again we say GOD IS LOVE.

Ushering and Drama Day 2013

LIVING A SANCTIFIED LIFE

Salvation is a process but it can be subdivided into these three steps. The first step, Justification, occurs when we repent of our sins and are baptized. For most of us, that’s in the past. We can consider that to be something that occurs in a moment at time. We have been forgiven of our past sins, and we can go on from there. The third step Glorification takes place on the day Messiah returns from heaven in power and glory and resurrects us from our graves. We can look on glorification as something that takes place in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet so there is point A in the past for most of us , and point C off in the future, when Christ comes.

The second of these three things SANCTIFICATION, is the period of time between point A and point C. We could call it point B or the WAY of living the sanctified life Matthew 7:13-14.

God has given us a road to walk. It will take us from point A to point C. All we need to do is to stay on that road, and keep moving forward. If we start at justification, and go down the road sanctification, we have every expectation of reaching glorification at the resurrection if we stay off the road of righteousness, if we fall off the path, if we fall into one ditch or the other, if we grind to halt why should we expect to be glorified when Christ comes. We have lost out on our salvation. Salvation is a process, God starts the process by watching us, getting to know what kind of people we are, what kind of potential we have, seeing it we might actually respond to the call if He calls us.     

Before He ever calls, He looks us over, to see what we will do. Then He calls us to an understanding of His plan and purpose. Then it is our turn. We can respond to our calling by coming to repentance by being baptized.

We can then continue to respond to our calling by living the sanctified life and trying to live up to live up to the awesome future God has invited us to have, until the day we die.

Now we are back to the chronicles of Daniels and the effect it has on we the modern Christians of this time...

It pleased my master Daniels to set the kingdom into an hundred and twenty princes and I was the first president (for we were three presidents at that time, for I had an excellent spirit) to the envy of my colleagues. So they sort to discredit me and tarnish my image but they saw how faithful I was to the service of my God and set about to use this against me.

Then my ‘friends’ went in the king and together they set up a plan. This plan was as to the worship of their gods. This was a royal statute that all persons were to worship the king and only the king for thirty days of which failing that, he would be cast into the lion’s den.

Then the king signed this into law. To be frank I was truly troubled about this and when I spoke to God about this and when I was through with Him I being in His presence I had peace. After this meeting, I finally resolved within me that no matter what may befall me or my fate.

What did I do? I went home, opened the windows facing the east, there I knelt before the windows and prayed before my God. I did this for some days i.e three times in the day.

These ‘friends’ then assembled, saw me and went into the king, reported and requested that due process be followed ie I be thrown into the lion’s den.

The king tried so much to avert the law but he couldn’t.

TATAFOOO KORNA

Finally we don show for this semester. Una good morning ooooo....., welcome to our first edition of Tatafoo kornna for this new semester, hope say una dey fine? Sha hope say una break make sense as my own sef make sense. Today being the 5^th of may 2013 na USHERING and DRAMA day although eno suppose be so but due to some reasons dem go celebrate their day together. We believe say them get enough blessings for us.

I believe say una know say door still dey open for una to join the departments wey dey available sake to say to be worker for God’s vineyard get enough blessings wey dey attached to am. So I go urge una make una pray to God make He direct una to the department of Him choice. As una know clearance dey start dis month and I believe say God go surely provide for our parents so as to pay our fees on time. Exam don dey draw near be that oh so make we begin dey prepare because like play like joke July go surface.

So as these two departments dey celebrate today make we put our mind together accept the message wey dem get for us and hold on to the promises of God. Though many things no too happen sha but make we Thank Baba say the suspension ban don commot from him children head, that na correct and making sense news too oh and clearance cards don begin locate their various owners. All glory to Baba God. With all the happiness and joy wey full our heart we say God love una and we ma sef care well well.

You know him. The stellar nightingale who,  in 2010,  swept through the Pentecostal Fellowship of Madonna with the “Roll the Stone Away” ministration alongside Papa Caleb(the Choir Director as at then) and Papa Tari(the Welfare Leader as at then). Since then he has simply blown the mind and spirits of the congregation so much that whenever he is involved it just had to be more than just another ministration. It would be a remarkable encounter with the presence of God. Who is He? Kase Greatness. Elder Kase.  The philosopher. E. Kay like he is popularly known today.

The Delta State born minister is presently in his third year studying Philosophy at Madonna University Okija. Until he was called to leadership on 20^th May, 2012, he was Kase of the Glory and Virtue Mass Choir-the Guitar boy. However, in the words of Bishop Kelechi Kanu, “Whenever E. Kay goes up there to minister you can that that is not just another boy with a great voice and strings-“. E. Kay’s life as a music minister is one that would beam to lead the rest of us into the new age of fearless artistes who are stubborn about who they are and what they believe in. His songs are studded with messages of peace, love and the path to a fresh intimacy with God. One that each man has to discover for himself through the scripture, one on one encounter with God and an undying faith and love in one’s creator.

E. Kay would forever be on the PFM’s nightingale wall of fame with the likes of Papa Tari, Passport, Mama Nneka, Nike, Teddy...the list is endless. Then again, our eyes are still watching to follow in his lead as regards the next big step. The Organised Press Crew went up. Close and personal with him

OPC: What inspired you to do music?

E. KAY:I was inspired by the word of God and had the burden to put it into music.

OPC: What is your preferred Genre of Music?

E.Kay:Gospel Rock

OPC: Are you in a relationship?

E.Kay: I need to get balanced first before making an approach towards relationship. It is not that I do not have anyone in mind now. It is just that I have to get balanced first because any approach to relationship will lead to marriage.

OPC: What is your take on today’s Christianity:

E.Kay: I see it as getting more practical today than just on the word alone. People tend to be more real on how they take the things of God.

OPC: Where do you see yourself in five years from now?

E.Kay: I see myself being very great in five years time in the ministry, the world of music and in the philosophical field.

OPC: Which was the worst day of your life?

E.Kay: My worst day was when I lost a very dear friend. I did not cry, but I felt so bad. But I know that she is resting in the bosom of the Lord.

OPC: Which was the best day of your life?

E.Kay: That is the day I can never forget. That day I felt I what it was like to be filled with the Holy Spirit, that was December 2008.

OPC: What is your advice to the youths? E.Kay: They should take whatever they do very seriously, and they should take their future very serious because whatever seed they sow now, that is what they will reap in the future.

OPC: Is there anyone you want to shout out to?

I want to say a big shout out to all those who have supported me in making this album a success.

The album came out in 5^th of May, 2013, and the album launch may be some time in August, if they will be any, due to my academic pursuit right now.
