As a new creation you have been
created in the image and likeness of God in which God’s gene now flows inside
of you which makes you superior to the devil. So if God cannot fail you cannot
also fail because you are a carrier, success now becomes your birth right.
Success is the ability to minimize
errors. Success is a progressive achievement of a predetermined goal. Success
is not measured at the end of a man’s life but at every stage of a man’s life.
Success doesn’t just happen, you have to make it happen. Success happens by
being at the right place at the right time. Success does not a short cut. Its
only a grave that you dig from the top. So for you to achieve success you have
to prepare yourself for every bit of it.
SO HOW
CAN ONE ACHIEVE SUCCESS
1. Vision/Goal: vision is the
ability to see or think about the future. The future that you have not seen
does not exist Habakkuk 2:2. So what are your goals, what are your plans for
the greater future ahead, for where there is no vision the people perish.
2. Power of Thought: what you
think is what you are actually. Your personality is as a result of your
mindset. So for you to be successful, you must be opened to positive change.
Successful people are creative. Difficulties or challenges is as a result of
the mind. Thoughts are pictures of the mind that have constructive or
destructive emotions Proverbs 23:7.
3. Diligence: proverbs 22:29!
Diligence means that you are there when you are suppose to be there, you attend
your lectures, do your assignment, write your quiz, attend your church
programmes. Being able to stand on your word, removing falsehood from you,
avoiding delays.
4. Passion: to be successful
you have to have passion which comes from conviction. Where passion is absent
there is no fuel for success. Be passionate about the most important thing in your life. When you are
passionate you don’t yield to criticism but they go the extra mile.
P - Persistence
A - Addiction
S - Seriousness
S - Searching for glory
I - Integrity
O - Optimism
N - Nothing interferes
5. The power of
Association: proverbs 13:20, 1cor 15:33,
Heb 6:13, prov 27:7. If you see someone that his life is not inspiring drop
him/her like any hot potato. You should
follow someone that share the same values with you, that will lead you in the
way of God i.e He loves God. You become what you watch and listen to.
6. The Dimensions of the
Spirit: Zac 4:6 the spirit of God has been given to you for your advantage.
When human beings get to its own end that is when God begins, just give
yourself to him, let him lead and direct your every day life.
7. Following Instructions:
Joshua 1:8, proverbs 15:32-33. By studying the bible and following every
instructions written, there in you make yourself successful for out of the
abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So the word of God should not depart
out of your mouth. Speak it forth in every situation and you will have good
success.
