DRAMA DAY 2015
THEME:JUST ONE THING

DRAMA DAY2015
THEME; Just one thing
TEXT; Luke 18:18-30, 1 kings 17:10-16, 1 peter 1:3
            Just one thing? I know you might be wondering what this “one thing is”. The story of the rich man in the book of Luke 18:18 explains it. He wanted external life built his wealth was obviously “god” in our lives and cast it all our cares and weakness before God (1 peter 5:7). It could be one, two or more, you know better. We should learn to totally trust God with not some but everything.
            To make manifest the one thing lacking in his life, Jesus applied a test. As with the rich man, so with ourselves, he may be living a decent and blameless life and yet our witness for Christ is marred by the lack of one thing.
ü What has become more important than God in your life? (Exodus 20:3)
ü Allow the word of God transform your mind and change your heart (Roman 12:2, jer17:10 psalm 119:11).
ü Allow God to mould your character through his word (2 chor 3:18, matt 5:16, Heb 4:12)
            The key to living a victorious life is trusting God with all you are and all you have. Have faith in him.

WHAT A UNIQUE AND WONDERFUL DAY IT WAS INDEED.

                                                FELLOWSHIP
            Fellowship according to the oxford dictionary 6th Edition;”it is a feeling of friendship between people who do things together or share an interest “. It is also defined as “an organized group of people   who share an interest, aim or belief”.
Good definitions, by the oxford dictionary but as the people of God, and in favor to this contest, there is more to it {I mean more to this topic “FELLOWSHIP”}.
            Fellowship indeed has to do with two or more persons as it is not a solo engagement. Hence for the purpose of the meeting, we can see fellowship to be, having an intimacy, partnership, or a communion with God. It is constant and unending close friendship with God. It is far above just coming for Sunday services or Saturday meetings and any other Christian gathering. It applies to both your secret and open work all through the scripture, we discover  people that are ever breakthrough  in their kingdom quest are those who knows, understand and activate the place of constant fellowship with God. We can also see it as a time we come to God in our secret places and praying, studying, meditating, discussing with God. And robbing His heart with forms, sharing common interest and aims together both with yourself, the kingdom and humanity. A time when you come with songs of worship and praises, and thanksgiving to the almighty God. So as Christians it is so, so important and paramount for so to create a ‘’caons rendezvous’’ where and when you and your father, the king of kings can and will always meet and relate like father and son. Apart from having this intimate relationship with God we can also fellowship with our fellows and brethrens both in and outside the church, that‘s why he admonished in the scripture that we should “extort ourselves with songs, hymns and spiritual songs ‘’ . By doing this, we therefore generated what we call corporate anointing “which is so potent to break and climb any mountain that one can’t just do alone.
            Beyond having a specific time and place where/when we come and fellowship with God and our brethren, our lives, attitudes, behaviors, mode of conversation, fashion etc should always be what will glorify God. Anywhere, anytime God can decide to speak to us or show/reveal some things to us, and this is only possible when our right stand with God is uncompromisable. People need to see you act and say indeed this one have truly being with God just as in the case of Moses in Exodus 34:30-35, and the testimony in Antioch about the early CHRISTIANS.
Hence, we can always fellowship with God when we are always thankful, praiseful, joyful, obedient, faithful, and righteous and fellowship of His suffering as in Phil.3:10. When everything about us is nothing but God, whether faced with challenges, issues, difficulties, maltreatments, when people do or say all sort of evil things against you, the way you react or answer can tell if you are actually in partnership with God. Apostle Paul went through all those massacre for Christ sake but he decided not to allow them break or come in between his communion with God but rather fellowship with Christ even in suffering. 2 Cor.11:19-33. Daniel also understood this, that is why he was able to purpose in his heart not to defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat nor with the drink which the king drinks… Daniel 1:8;
Therefore our fellowship, partnership, communion, intimacy with God must not be only when we come together in a gathering but a continuous activity that must never be neglected every single minute of our lives.
