The Afrospark Project
Storm the world in words and win!
You graduate in a few
months. So what? There are other graduates too. You have an outstanding Grade
Point Average. So what? There are more than enough in supply. So then, what
makes you special? Why should I believe in you above every other Nigerian there
is. What makes you sensational? What do you think of yourself and your future
in Nigeria as a Nigerian?
...You
have to speak up louder than everyone else if you want to be heard, because the
truth is that everyone has a voice...

Up Revolution(the movie)

Dear PFM,
Re: STORM THE WORLD
I am human. I am young. I am African and Christian.
I had great dreams for myself and my country and today I am no longer a secret.
I am a success. My dreams have become my day and I do not regret any fall or
rise that is part of my history.
People tell me that my country Nigeria is such a
hard place to survive in. They bring tales of failure, regret and wasted
dreams. A few, who can afford to, have eloped abroad for greener pastures. If I
did not know any better, I would have had all the good reasons to believe them.

In a few months time, you shall produce another
batch of proud owners of degrees and
they flood the Nigerian market in search of means to Storm the World. I know its possible because I am there and doing
that everyday. I am getting results too.
I believe that Nigeria is a great state. Her history
is not so fantastic. However, neither is that of any other country in the world
that I know of.
But then, I believe in dreams. I believe in
tomorrow. I believe in the great things that the African mind is capable
of. In line with this, I throw this
opportunity to your prospective
graduates.
“If
I made Four million naira available to you, giving a four year time limit, what
would you make of yourself and our country Nigeria ?”
I require a reply in 1,500 words informing me aptly
of the writer, his/ her past, present and foreseeable future as citizen of
Nigeria; whether or not he/ she intends to take this opportunity and why; what
makes him/her more qualified than the rest of Nigeria and how he/she intends to
STORM THE WORLD in four years if given this opportunity.
Warm regards,
Afrospark
Please note that there shall be just one winner.
