Focus: Every man is born a winner
Outline:
When God created man, he gave him a
mandate in GEN 1: 28, which was clearly stated thus “replenish the earth, have
dominion and subdue it. He placed man in all of the necessary gifting, calling
and talents. He would ever need to accomplish his glorious plan for our life.
He did not create man suffer in life, fall short or to abort his mission.
INTRODUCTION
Life is a race, marathon race and not just
a spirit race, there are ups and so there are returns. Life is warfare and not
a funfair. Man needs to understand very conscious and spiritual alert “1 Peter
5:8’’ says be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a
roaring lion, walking
about, seeking whom he may devour.
So
therefore, in order not to be a victim of any devouring by the enemies, you
need a supernatural backing “Eph 6:12” there are forces in the spiritual realm,
out to devastate the destiny of men and that is the more reason we need to
guard our mind to a spiritual heavyweight. Most especially the approach to this
battle has to be violent “2 Corinthians 10:4-5”.
How
much more you know God determines how strong you can stand to win any battle. The
question is; are you winning for Christ or the Devil? They call you a Christian
but yet you are not Christ-like. It’s an error, if you are a Christian and you
are failing in any area of your life. It is only champions that are recognised.
We are spirit beings we are boundless in our abilities and cannot be limited by
circumstances. We carry something extra-ordinary i.e. we are carriers of Gods
power, a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19).

CONCLUSION
There
is need to understand that the only decider of all victory is God. Our winning
capacity is what makes us to our glorious destiny. Life is a tussle between
winning and losing. In order not to fumble, you need to struggle and that is
why you really need to make yourself a vessel in his temple. Ever since the
foundation of the earth, God has never lost a battle. He can’t just start
losing now Heb 13:8. Losing is not an option, we do not negotiate with the
devil because winning is our birth-right. You are born to win.

When God formed you, he placed in
you all the necessary gifting, callings and talents you would ever need to
fulfil his glorious plans for your life. He did not create you to suffer in
life, stall, and fall short or to abort your missions.
YOU
WERE CHOSEN BY GOD TO WIN
Some peoples’ lives are just
filled with problem-after-problem and letdown-after-letdown and most likely
they have been through it. Fouled relationship, failed marriages, financial
catastrophes, failed health, depression, bitter family feuds, frustration with
life, bitter at the world, and mad at god. God did not design you to be that
way either. Pay attention to God’s awesome blue-print for your life: (john
15:16) Amp. ‘’you have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and I have
appointed you that your fruit may be lasting, so that whatever you ask the
father in my name, he may give it to you.
It is the immutable will of God
that you may bear fruits and that your fruit remains. In other words, ‘’you were born to WIN’’. Not only did
the lord choose you to bear fruits and keep on bearing fruits, he laid out the
necessary plans for you to fulfil his vision for your life...
(Jeremiah 29:11 NIV), ‘’for I know
the plans I have for you, declares the lord, plans to prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’’.
Focus your attention, the only plan
God recognises concerning your life are his plans. He does not recognise your
plan. He will even glance at your plan for your life, because you do not want
to end up like the mass of individuals who venture through life not realising
they are ruining God’s glorious plan for their lives. They opt or carve out
their own plans and the net result: They end up working in fields in which they
were never designed to work. They take job they were not suited for, they date
people and get involved in relationships that are clearly dead-end, and they
marry people with whom they are unequally yoked from the moment they say
‘’hello’’.
HOW MOST PEOPLE RUIN GODS GLORIOUS PLAN FOR THEIR LIFE’
This is how most people ruin God's
glorious plan for their lives. They make bad decisions because their judgement
is defective or they misinterpreted the fact. They act upon different knowledge
or commit an act of carelessness. They have a wrong understanding of the
situation or they recognise or identify a person or people incorrectly. What
causes your judgement to be defective? What causes you to have deficient knowledge
or to commit an act of carelessness? What causes you to misinterpret the fact
or to wrongly understand the truth?
There are seven primary reasons
*you lack godly counsel (proverb
11:14; 15:12)
*you don’t know or follow Gods
voice (john 10:3-5, 27)
*you allow negative influence in
your life (1 cor. 15:33)
*you don’t bind the word of god
in your heart (prov. 6:21-23)
*you live a prayer less life (1
cor. 14:4-5, 18, Jude 20)
*you live a sinful lifestyle (Isaiah
59:2; psalm 66:18)
*you don’t know your god-given
purpose (2 Timothy 1:9)
God gives everyone specific gifts,
callings and talents for the purpose of fulfilling his plans for their life, you
are born with them. It is your responsibility to find out what they are and
then put them to use.
Remember, you are born to win because
the lord God Almighty chose you to be a winner.
THE SANCTUARY SOLDIER
Every Christian is a soldier of Christ.
The sanctuary soldier represents Christ, we are born to win and we are also
carriers of God’s power. It’s our right given us by God to dominate.
God has never given up before since the
creation of the, he has never failed. Automatically winning is our birth right.
We are unshakable, immovable and untouchable by all powers of darkness. No
weapon fashioned against us shall prosper for we are more than conquerors.
We are filled with the supernatural spirit
of Christ for is he that is in me than he that is in the world. In a game of
two, the champion is the only recognised person.
The soldiers of sanctuary department
beseech you to represent Christ and keep winning, make it your identification
for you are born to win.
THE QUESTION HERE IS ARE YOU A WINNER?

To be a winner is a life process.
Who is a winner? A winner is a conqueror, an over comer and a champion. Winning
is not a destruction, its a journey. Do you believe that anybody can achieve anything?
Those
who are born to win are those who walk through the door opportunity when it
swings open. Do everything you can to be ready. Don’t just sit down and wish
dreams. Be pro-active and make sure you are qualified when the door opens. Make
sure you are the closest to the door.
Above
all the bedrock of winning in life is seeking and trusting God “Romans 9:16” “so
then it is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth, but of God that
showeth mercy”. It is him that crowns your effort with his mercy or success.

We are familiar with the
word winning. Winning simply entails
being in the victory lane, it means being on the triumphant part of life.
Every
born again is created to be a winner. For anyone who has Jesus in him the
winning mandate is resident and operational in him (1John 4:4). A winner is one
who can do all things through the grace of God. A winner is someone who despite
or opposition stands up and declares I am a winner.
Winning
in life is not a product of force but of choice. God has given us a wonderful
opportunity of choosing our label or tag in life. If you want to be a winner or
loser then it’s up to you. The question is what can do to be a winner, seeing
that the “winner gene” lives in each of us.
Firstly,
get born again because that is where the winning begins. Secondly, go for the
word, understand and digest the word on a daily bases, Partner with the Holy
Spirit, have a vision and purpose because winners always have a purpose.
Finally,
work for God and live right because winners are people who understand the
principles of kingdom stewardship and righteousness.
Remember
that every winner is praise, when you glorify God you are taken to your place
of glory.

Born – on the other hand implies
Birth
Win – means the act of being
successful in an activity.
But when we say that someone is
born to win, it simply means that he/she has been endowed with the ability to
always be successful in any area of life activity from birth.
Born to win can also mean your
birth right to be successful in every challenge in your life. It can be
academic, spiritually, financially and other life activities. Gen 1:28 make it
clear that God have given us power to multiply, the power to rule, the power to
have dominion over everything in life. The bible verse makes us to understand
that God have not created us to be a failure in life, because he is not a
failure, you are not right to fail.
Jer.1:5
“Before I formed thee in the belly, I know thee” and I have sanctified thee and
ordained thee a prophet unto the nation”. This means that before your existence
in the world God have ordained your destiny as a success.
That means
v God did not bring you to this world to fail
v God did
not bring you to Madonna to have carry over
v God did
not bring you to Madonna to have missing script.
1john 4:4 “he that is in you is
greater than he that is in the world” because life is tussle between winning
and losing. In order to fumble, you need to struggle and that is why you really
need to make yourself a vessel in his temple.

For one hour I was overwhelmed
before the king. The king noticing my pale face assured me that whatever the
interpretation would be, he would take it all in good faith. Being assured of
my life was another to let this dream come true. So I Daniel interpreted this
dream.
I tried so hard counsel the king and beg
that he save his soul from disaster by acknowledging the true and living God
but as usual he did not listen to me and what was for seen befell the king.
For seven years the king was a beast and
lived like a wild beast. The kingdom was ruled by his second-in-command and at
a point I had more enemies than before this befell the king . . .

Message behind song
There
are so many ways to give God the praise that he is so worthy of. But of all the
ways, today GVMC has chosen to praise the lord, to worship his majesty and to
magnify his name by “clapping hands “to his Glory. Praise is like yeast, it has
a multiplication effect.
As
we praise God, we are raised, we are lifted beyond our expectations, Paul and
Silas in a really stormy situation sang praises to God and something happened.
God open our eyes to unknown wonders. He is capable of when we worship and
praise him in the beauty of holiness, and spirit and in truth. We lift our
voices, we sing our songs and we cap it all up clapping our hands to praise God
for “who is he, what he has done and what he will do”.

Una good morning and welcome to another
wonderful Sunday service, this na de second Sunday of the month of March and we
know say God still dey bless us dey go.
Last
Sunday wey na evangelism day carry enough anointing starting from the opening
prayer to drama down to the sermon. Me I k now say even where I sit down I
still dey tap from the anointing. Some of four graduates worshipped with us
before dem go back at least I see Mama Rachael (former school of impact leader)
inside.na waa o o she fresh wella. To be graduate good o o o but make it be say
you graduate without wahala, n aim good pass. At this point I pray say make none
of our finalist (leaders or non leaders) come back for any wahala, god go give
them reason to happy by July/August 2013. All these kind of prayer go only work
if you believe and work towards them or else you dey on your own (OYO).
This
week wey we just finish carry many blessings and I believe say this week wey
SANCTUARY DEPARTMENT won open go carry double of last week blessing as the 10th
of march wey be na there day. This
department na one department wey I like wella. If you look well you go
understand say na dem de incharge of the way then church de always de organised
even if dey bring two style we still dcey accept to the style. All the same, we
dey expect something great from dem. 8th ofc march dem say na
international women’s day, hope say una recognise the women wey de una life
that day sha.
And I wan use this medium to say
congratulations to our graduate’s wey dey youth service corps orientation camp
and also make God guide them there.
To
all of una wey like una mama scatter for the house, no forget her Happy mothers day and tell am
say you love her wella.

What is time?
Time is the hundred dollar
question that a lot of people ask , which at the same time, the answer is not
achieved, and some times , answers are not been gotten by a lot of people, but
the answer they get is not really satisfying or actually correct because of
this fact a lot of people do not know not know what time is, there is tendency
to misuse it and just go on like that without they are really doing.
It
is very important in life that we answer this question whether collectively or individually
because in every aspect of our life and the world entirely, time regulate how
things work and it is very important in life that even God who created the
whole world said “ said that there is time and season for everything under the
sun”. Time is what brings orderliness in life, because the universe would not
have been orderly without time, and also
when it comes to the growth of natural things in the universe (plant) you will
notice that they do not just grow and bear fruit at the same time because it
all work with time .let drift a little to the spiritual realm, take the trinity
as a key study (God the father son and the holy spirit) work with time, when
God the father was at work on the earth he spoke to Moses through the burning
bush when it was time for God the son, he came down to earth in form of a man (Jesus) and died for the
sins of humanity. And when it was time for the Holy Spirit God the sun left and
now we are still in the dispensation of the spirit, even in d spiritual realm
time is important.
And
now if you are asked what does the word “time” really mean to you, what will be
your responds?
Time
from my own point of view, is the acid test of value. I know a lot of people
might be wondering what kind of funny definition of time is this but am just
going to leave it to you to think about it and I assure you that after giving
it a careful thought, you will surely agree with my point of view .
