PFM
ANNIVERSARY 2013 WITH THE THEME HIGHER GROUND
However in the course of the preparations for the anniversary
the Fellowship organized a football competition for the guys as a means of
evangelism and to reach out well to the guys. The Fellowship also organized a
sack race and cooking competition for the female.
In as much as we know that the competition was solely for the
purpose of evangelizing a winner actually emerged in the guy’s football
competition and there was equally a winner in the girls cooking and sack race
competition.
After so much huddles PRAYER FORCE AND DRAMA DEPT that were
merged together emerged the winner of the football competition defeating
SANCTUARY DEPT in the finals that I term a thrilling one. Prayer force and
drama department paraded players that were actually outstanding, dedicated,
pushy, strong, dramatic, prayerful and above all humble…
The Organized Press Crew will not forget to mention that the
best player in the course of the tournament was AKALONU ANTHONY from PRAYER FORCE
whom I call the “Fellowship Messi”
The most organized team was given to GVMC because of the way
she handled matters.
The highest goal scorer was JOSEPH from foundation school.
The referee that helped the Fellowship to oversee the affairs
of the game was Jasper Obanokho and he actually did his thing to the fullest.
The Organized Press Crew did not fail to congratulate the
maiden champions of the ANNIVERSARY CUP by interviewing to know what they
actually have to say about the competition.
·
Idhugwe
Justus (Prayer Force) : Actually
when the whole thing started we never anticipated going this far. I want to
express my joy coming out from the group to win the cup was a nice experience,
am equally happy because we all are winners and the purpose of the competition
I know was not defated.
·
Orunsi
Monday (Drama Dept): I thank God it has
come to an end successfully. I also thank God for making me part of the winning
team because without Him it won’t be possible.
·
Akalonu
Anthony (Prayer Force): nothing much to say am so happy it was successful and I
want to thank God for making it a success. Am equally happy we are lifting the
maiden edition of the Anniversary Cup. We thank God in all.
·
Onwujiobi
Lotanna Solomon (Prayer Force): firstly I will go with the adage that says
“Proper preparations prevent poor performance”
the Lord will strengthen his people. The pessimist sees the difficulty
in every opportunity while the optimist sees the opportunity in every
difficulty.
It was not easy but then I had great
expectations that we could make it and then we made it. In a nutshell I say a
very big thank you to God Almighty for the success of the competition and for
its aim because I trust Him it was achieved.
·
Bakare
Kenny (Drama Dept): let me say “Prestissimo”
i.e as quickly as possible that this tournament was a great one. My
feeling is a dream come through I thank God.
·
Jasper
Obanokho the referee said it’s a good one, he said said it brings brothers
together and keps them in unity, he however thanked God on behalf of the fellowship
for the success of the competition.
In all these things we thank God the purpose of the
tournament was not defeated. We will definitely not forget to thank Him for
taking us to HIGHER GROUND….
HAPPY
14TH ANNIVERSARY PFM
