 TRUE SOLDIER

A true soldier I am

To defend and to do his will

Of him who sent me

To do my duty I must

Day and night on duty

 

 

In the face of a battle I bow not

My course, my mission, my life

My mission I must fulfill.

Though I walk through deserts

 Which seek to kill my spirit

Though I face danger

I COUNT IT ALL JOY

Challenges I must face

But in all, I am more than conquerous

Because I am a VICTOR.

Because I know who I am

And even if my vision takes my life,

I see to it that the will of he who sent me is fulfilled

I BE A TRUE SOLDIER

I DIE AT MY POST

 

PRAISE

            Oh Praise! A word that we often hear and rarely practicalize. Praise as a Lifestyle is not referring to one’s attitude towards praising and worshipping God during the praise and worship sessions in church every Sunday morning.

            Praise as a lifestyle encompasses all that you do every day of your life. It permeates through your daily activities from waking up , eating , singing , reading, playing and every other thing that you can ever think of (Colossians 3:17) .

            Consequently, our heavenly Father expects us to praise Him at all times no matter the circumstance. This is because He has promised that everything that will ever happen to us is working for our good. (Rom 8:28). What an amazing promise! This means that nothing happens to us, but everything happens to us.

            Fortunately, “God does not always protect us from trouble, but cares for us in spite of trouble “.Indeed, “The Ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy (Martin Luther King Jr) What is your attitude towards God in your slippery moments ? Can you still Praise God?

            Examine your attitude in moments of challenges and of if it is for different from when all is smooth and nice, then you have to consciously make praise a lifestyle until it becomes an unconscious act.

            Conclusively, never forget that you are Christ‘s ambassador on earth and what you portray in your everyday life will either attract or distract people‘s attention to or from God!
